  • Maura is an artist who has joyously jumped to the right side of her brain and loves playing with color after teaching high school Science for many years. It all started as a child, sitting under a tree in the backyard and drawing.

    Now her muse inspires her to work in mixed media, art journaling and Steampunk. She likes to use her imagination when creating art and is often inspired by books she’s read, the natural world and the many places she’s visited.

    Maura has worked on several design teams including Grafix, N*Studio Creative Squad, Emerald Creek and Buttons Galore and More. She hosted a Steampunk challenge with Sandee and Amelie’s Steampunk Challenges and her artwork has been featured on

    Tim Holtz lives. She currently works as a designer with DecoArt and Simon Says Stamp.

  • Michelle has been a Stampin’ Up consultant for over 17 years. She is an avid card maker and paper artist who finds creative inspiration from patterned papers, embellishments and found objects. Michelle is always looking for fun and new ways to incorporate pretty papers into her craft projects. She teaches a variety of classes throughout the Capital Region of New York State.

    Michelle is also a representative for Chalk Couture and loves to share her passion for creating unique, personalized home décor items.

    Michelle always says “Creating with friends feeds my soul.”

  • Doris has loved making things for as long as she can remember. As a child, her grandmother taught her to crochet and sew, and when she was six she got her first sewing machine and started making clothes for her dolls.

    Over the years, Doris’ passion for crafting has expanded to other mediums and you will often find her surrounded by papers, inks, paints and glue. She is a talented and diverse mixed media artist and painter who brings unique creations to life.

    Doris teaches decorative painting in Albany New York’s Capital Region and at the painters convention at New England Traditions in Marlboro Massachusetts.

  • Kris Palmer started scrapbooking over 15 years ago and then ventured into card making. Although her crafting endeavors were simple at first, she quickly learned about the myriad of papers, embellishments and stamps available and the rest is history!

    Kris stepped over to the “dark side” and began digital scrapbooking. She successfully organized numerous events for the Scrapbooking Divas over the last ten years before “retiring” to enjoy attending events as a guest.

    Kris possesses expertise as a Cricut maker ~ creating embellishments for scrapbooks and one-of-a-kind crafts. Her real passion is designing apparel and sharing her vast Cricut knowledge with others.
